I refuse to be alone in this shame — or — Princess Princess, and why you should be watching it.

As I wrote in an email earlier this evening: I have reached the darkest place in anime hell — a situation in which I actually have to use the words “nonconsensual crossdressing” while describing a series. How did my life come to this? Where will it go from here? I was so lost and alone, ya’ll, in this dark cavern of humanity — little did I know that my life was going to AWESOME.

I was watching Princess Princess, and so should you.

Aarinfantasy and Co. did the fansubs of the 12 episodes, all available here to see on YouTube (or ready to download here), and I’m pretty sure there is already a U.S. commercial release of at least the first volume of the manga — I say this because I read it accidentally while in Borders searching for Harudaki smut.

The plot of “Princess Princess” you ask? Because the words “nonconsensual crossdressing” aren’t enough to intrigue you?
