Reconstruction Ch 9 Preview

I can’t tell what is killing this chapter’s more deeply: the fact that I was playing family host for 2 weeks or that I hate writing action scenes. BUT ANYWAY to tide ya’ll over, a little preview, and extra bonus points for people who get the reference on this one.

The rest of this war will be documented to the millimeter, but I doubt this will ever be declassified. It seems sometime while I was occupied elsewhere, the SSR took it upon themselves to inflict untested super soldier medical flimflammery upon an ANC nurse. Apparently, she found the results agreeable and is now part of a guerrilla team of Allied forces to destroy Nazi bases throughout the Western Theater I am not supposed to know about in order to maintain plausible deniability.

Stark — who is unbearable — has assured me Lady Liberty (as she goes by these days) has the “phenomenal strength of 10 men” and “no plans to bring legal action.” That Stark feels these are the issues over which I require reassurance are exactly why I find him unbearable.

Context on this gif set would not actually help.

To borrow a phrase from 4chan: I came.

Bulk Barn

Bulk Barn is an only-in-Canada godsend to thrifty-minded moms from Halifax to Vancouver. It features hundreds of bulk items in giant bins that you can scoop out into little bags; everything from corn starch and flour to various candies to the best part of Lucky Charms (the marshmallows.) There is also a surprising number of piñatas in every store. There are over 200 stores across Canada in every province, and every Canadian alive is guilty of secretly sampling from the bins.

I unthinkingly took Pru into a Bulk Barn last time she was here and now it’s her favourite thing in Canada, including me.

I WOULD HAVE LEGIT MOVED TO TORONTO IN THE MOMENT I REALIZED THEY HAD LIKE FLAX BY THE OUNCE.

“Rodney. I’m fine.”

god, that last gif. ♥   anyone who says Rodney’s oblivious hasn’t been watching the same show.

I still love these assholes.

superscldiers:

OH MY GOD HE IS THE HOT TEACHER YES HOT TEACHER CHRIS EVANS AU I NEED IT

I literally said out loud at my computer: “His momma taught him so well. Look at how nicely his shirt’s tucked in.”

East Coast Gazette has a terrible editorial focus and tends to use a lot of ALL CAPS but TOTALLY NOT BECAUSE OF HARRY POTTER. Stories in progress as well as snapshots will be listed in the "box full of snapshots" below, website archive for stories and assorted tomfoolery is glitterati.
