Sorkin Supercut of the Day: It appears The Newsroom will be a mere rearrangement of the same tired perfectly crafted lines that Aaron Sorkin has used for every project since the early ’90s.

Ingenious editor Kevin Porter borrowed scenes from:

  • Malice
  • A Few Good Men
  • Bulworth
  • Sports Night
  • The West Wing
  • Studio 60
  • Charlie Wilson’s War
  • The Social Network
  • and for some reason, Tom Hanks’ 1993 Oscar speech.

#this is embarrassing

I saw this and went back an entire day on my tumblr feed to reblog this post with this tag because oh my god it really is

juuuuust needed this on my blog

Ooooooooooh burn.

So we’re all on the same page now that Aaron Sorkin is a one-trick pony? That’s good.

I mean it’s a really good trick! But yes.

Recognizing we are in ETERNAL DISAGREEMENT about Sorkin: everybody only WISHES they were as one-trick pony as that guy is.

East Coast Gazette has a terrible editorial focus and tends to use a lot of ALL CAPS but TOTALLY NOT BECAUSE OF HARRY POTTER. Stories in progress as well as snapshots will be listed in the "box full of snapshots" below, website archive for stories and assorted tomfoolery is glitterati.
